100% Norway

100% Norway is an annual event at the London Design Festival, showcasing up and coming talent and innovative manufacturers. With the curators concept already in place, we were invited to design the catalogue and graphics, based on traditional patterns and building techniques. The solution, a meeting between old traditions and new interpretations, creates a more contemporary feel.

We always look forward to the 100% Norway display during London Design Festival. Last year they wisely cut loose from the Earls Court event and positioned their display within the more happening exhibitors at Tent off Brick Lane. http://www.londondesignfestival.com/search?keys=100%25+Norway

Really love this treatment of an identity, it reminds me of those classic late 60s and early 70s identities for companies like Habitat and Galt Toys.

New York City Transit Authority Graphics Standards Manual

This site is dedicated to serve as an archival record of a first edition NYCTA Graphics Standards Manual designed by Massimo Vignelli of Unimark International. The manual was found in a locker beneath old gym clothes. Roll over the images to magnify. Enjoy.

Massimo Vignelli’s work for New York City Transit Authority has never been bettered. This a great design resource even though the Graphics Standards Manual was created long ago.
